Compliance Analyst
Our company is currently hiring a “Compliance Analyst” to work in our Pembroke Pines office. The applicant must have at least 4+ years of experience in Financial Analysis, Risk Management, Governance Analysis, Business Law, and Tax Planning for private entities with foreign operations and vice versa. Experience with International Accounting Standards and US GAAP, International Tax and Financial Planning and Auditing experience required. Sound working knowledge of Financial, Risk Management, Governance Reporting Systems & Accounting Software. Knowledge of .NET Financials, and similar Business Intelligence software. The applicant must possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance or equivalent.
SUMMARY:
This position supports and assists the Head of the Financial Department in performing Financial Analysis, Risk Management, Governance analysis, Auditing, and Tax Planning for private entities with foreign operations and vice versa. He or she will define a “Compliance Plan” for each of the companies including decision making framework, accounting, audit, taxes and legal framework. Assisting the Head of the Department setting the risk tolerance, identifying potential risks and prioritize the tolerance for risk based on the objectives, and manage and mitigate risks throughout the entities. Conducting periodic compliance program and risk assessments to the governance system for local and foreign entities. Development, implementation and administration of all key policies that support the entities to achieve their governance system goals and objectives. Maintain and develop the Governance Reporting system to assist clients in performing their board member’s roles. Compile qtrly/monthly performance measurement reports for clients outlining performance as well develop and implement the blue print of the Clients Net Worth Report.
Additionally, assist the department to design and implement internal controls, policies and procedures for all companies under administration to assure compliance with internal procedures as well as applicable local, state and federal laws and regulations. Last but not least, performing analysis of the financial and legal situation of the Structures through the review of Quarterly Financial Statements, Monthly Financial Statements, if required, Annual Statutory Financial Statements, Audit Financial Statements Reports, and any related Financial or Legal Documentation if applicable; and performing other financial and accounting related duties.
