Fiscal Technician 1
SALARY: Minimum | Maximum $50,178 | $76,518
Fiscal Technician l is responsible for processing and researching invoices and disbursements in a timely manner in compliance with financial policies of the District.
Essential Duties
- Receive and verify invoices for goods and services.
- Verify that transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Review employee expense reimbursement requests and credit card expenses and ensure coding is accurate, and in compliance with financial policies.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Knowledge of accounting, finance, business administration or closely related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with personal computers, including word processing, spreadsheet applications and accounting-related software programs.
- Experience with accounting financial models using Excel or similar.
Special Requirements:
* A current, valid California Class C driver’s license at time of appointment and maintained at all times thereafter in order to operate a vehicle on District business.
* Must be able to successfully obtain a Transportation Workers Identification Card, (TWIC Card).
