Bernardo Alzate Nursery is currently hiring a Sales Coordinator to work in our Wellington office. The applicant must have at least 5+ years of experience in Sales Strategies, Sales and Business Development Implementation and Analysis, Implementing Marketing and Sales Strategies. Experience with Statistical and Multivariate Analysis, Market Data Analysis, Business Development Analysis, Project Management, and Project & Event tracking. Knowledge with the Event Tracker & Project Tracker software applications are a plus. The applicant must possess Master’s Degree in Business Administration, or Marketing specialties.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Sales Coordinator leads all of the company sales activities and the implementation of the marketing and business development plans for the America Region. With the primary responsibility of generating sales from new customers of the assigned region. The Sales Coordinator enhances and expands Bernardo Alzate Nursery’s market position by locating developing defining negotiating and closing business relationships. This is achieved through highly effective tactical and strategic management and development of the agencies sales team meeting sales targets and delivering profitable results through consistent motivation counseling skills development and product knowledge development.
The candidate is accountable for the development of the sales strategy; leading and managing both the internal / external sales team in attainment of annual sales, revenue and margin goals. Responsible for building relationships with retailers/distributors by focusing on customer satisfaction and performance analysis, developing and driving sales plans for new products and markets. Creates strategies to improve planogram performance to maintain distribution, and increase points of distribution with a focus on the distributors that service. Penetrate new markets, up-sell/cross sell existing client base for sustained growth, gain distribution of new sales initiatives and set/manage sales team priorities, resulting in continued growth of revenue and profitability. Develop sales campaigns to leverage existing customer base to its fullest extent and to add profitable new accounts. Prepares sales forecasts for budgeting and line development purposes as well as analyze and control expenditures of division to conform to budgetary requirements.
Last but not least, he or she is responsible for identifying new target markets compatible with our National and International activities, and performs internal financial analyses of business development proposals; planning and implementing Sales Strategies to reach selected target markets and increase Market penetration; analyzing Company’s concepts; developing appropriate sales/marketing program strategies and goals; determining operational requirements and related costs; implementing combinations of marketing channel execution; developing communications material; managing company communication projects’ budgets and expenses to ensure that sales/marketing communication goals are executed in a cost-effective manner; and performing other related duties.
