Real Estate Project Analyst
Job Summary:
The Real Estate Project Analyst position is responsible for assisting Management in the worldwide planning and analysis for VIP Development Group's long-term capital projects and expenditures. This position offers a great opportunity for broad investment analysis experience and exposure to all facets of real estate acquisitions, dispositions, asset management and capital markets. Some of the projects include the building and formation of our global business as well as strategic investments involving new properties, expansion of existing, and new product lines. The position will work closely with business unit CFO and project finance teams.
This position is responsible for assisting Management in performing Financial Analysis, Risk Management, Governance analysis and Governance processes for contributing to the successful delivery of initiatives within the company according to measures of scope, time, cost, and quality. In addition, He or she compiles qtrly/monthly performance measurement reports outlining performance of defined benefit/defined investment strategies & draft company recommendations based on said performance. Last but not least, evaluating Real Estate investments, performing Financial Analysis; calculating FICO scores and performing relevant analysis to evaluate Credit Risk; conducting Loan Type Performance Analysis; implementing Financial Models and preparing periodical Financial Forecasts; preparing Risk Analysis on potential investments as well Operational and Investment Budgets; and performing legal and compliance Internal Audits of Financial documents, and performing other financial related duties.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Sound working knowledge of Real Estate, Financial, Risk Management, and Project Management. Experience in budgetary planning/management, financial analysis, real estate policy analysis or a related field is a plus. A high degree of proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required; experience with Microsoft MS or Accounting system is a plus. Experience in Cash Management, domestic and preferably international, Foreign exchange and accounting, Financial modeling, and Cash Forecasting; strong analytical skills; meticulous and thorough in data review methods; and solid communication skills and ability to interact with all employees.
Education/Experience Requirements:
Master’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or Management is required, with relevant real estate finance, management, and reporting experience and 3+ years full-time work experience in the industry.
