Data & Research Analyst
Plans, leads, and manages the development, implementation, and evaluation of major research or complex data analysis projects so that consistent, quality research is delivered to Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency (SCALE) partner staff and organizations. Serves as a countywide expert in issues pertaining to data collection, validation, and analysis that help inform strategic priorities and attainment of goals on community objectives. To achieve this result, consults with SCALE partners about outcome development, research needs, findings, and conclusions. The Scott County Association for Leadership and Efficiency (SCALE) was formed in 2003 to encourage greater efficiencies and leadership in public service through enhanced communication, collaboration of services, and sharing of resources. The Mission of SCALE is to forge new and innovative ways in which government entities can collaborate to provide superior services while making the most of limited resources.
Minimum Qualifications:
Requires equivalency of a Bachelor's degree (masters preferred) in a related field such as sociology, business, informatics, or public administration; OR 2 years of related experience, such as competent use of a range of analysis tools (business intelligence tools; routine or ad hoc reports; Statistical Analysis System (SAS), Statistical Package for the Social Sciences (SPSS)); geographical information systems (GIS); and program evaluation tools. A valid driver's license or reliable means of transportation is required.
Hiring Range: $26.64 to $38.29
