As a Partner Success Manager, you will build and maintain relationships with executives across three key types of influencer organizations – PE Firms, Top Tier Consulting and Integration Firms and Venture Capital Firms.  As the result of your success, Sage Intacct will become a standard for portfolio firms evaluating finance applications within the PE and Venture firms with whom you establish relationships.  Similarly, for Consulting and Integration firms, your success will be measured by firms developing expertise in the capabilities of Sage Intacct, recommending/referring Sage Intacct to their clients and endorsing the selection of Sage Intacct by their clients.

You will be responsible for developing a plan to identify target firms, the strategy for outreach and the interaction to establish Sage Intacct as a favored partner. You will work collaboratively with Sage Intacct’s sales organizations, Sage product organizations and marketing organizations to increase the number of opportunities referred to Sage Intacct as the result of the relationships you establish.  Through your efforts, we expect to increase new opportunity creation and improve our standing within influencer organizations.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop positioning and recruiting plan for targeted effort focused on PE firms and VC firms
  • Develop positioning, knowledge transfer and field engagement plan for targeted effort focused on top tier consulting and SI firms
  • Identify requirements and dependencies, program attributes, as well as milestones charting progress and success within influencer market
  • Develop and execute strategic plan that results in the achievement of approved objectives
  • Responsible for the overall partner success, including: day-day engagement, referral opportunity growth targets and day-day interaction with named PE Firms, Consulting Organizations and Venture Firms
  • Responsible for evaluating Sage Intacct’s current relationships and development of a plan to increase our success
  • Collaborate with Sage Intacct organizations to align resources and drive initiatives
  • Deliver partner communications, develop joint collateral, and strategically manage joint events that are related to or the result of partner relationships
  • Become an expert on our product, our competition and the markets in which we compete
  • Forecast key drivers and results
  • Up to 70%+ travel

Requirements:

  • BA/BS in marketing, business or related fields; MBA is highly desired
  • Minimum of 8 – 10 years experience in a partner management, sales, or marketing related role in the technology sector
  • Specific experience in working with or selling to the CFO
  • Experience working with enterprise application providers as well as key Sage Intacct influencers (PE Firms, VC Firms, Consulting Firms)
  • Ability to establish and manage trusted relationships with senior business leaders
  • Customer focused and a partner advocate
  • Hands-on, self-directed executive who plans, prepares and executes professionally
  • Ability to work well with limited supervision and with limited resources
  • High energy, enthusiasm and initiative
