HR Specialist
Our company is currently seeking an HR Specialist to support the administrative department located at Corporate Headquarters in Doral, Florida. He or she will be responsible for successfully implementing HR-related processes, practices, change initiatives, and outcomes to maximize the achievement of the company’s short- and long-term business goals. Specifically, this person will provide HR Generalist expertise to assigned departments consisting of Directors, Managers, and employees. Additionally, he or she will participate in or lead key HR initiatives to include the following areas: recruitment and retention, performance and talent management, employee relations, workforce planning, diversity and inclusion, change management, compensation, policies/legal requirements.
Provides data analysis to support identification of human capital trends, highlighting opportunities or threats, and recommending actions to optimize management of human resources and drive business results. Creates reports requested by managers (e.g., staffing level reports, Family Medical Leave Act usage reports, other HR reports as requested, etc.). Functions as a proficient user of Human Resource Information System (HRIS) (e.g., works proficiently in HRIS (SAP); provides system guidance). In addition, the HR Specialist will perform miscellaneous duties as assigned by the supervisor. Should be familiar with HRIS software and advanced skills in Excel. Applicant must possess an Associate’s Degree in HR, Business Administration, Management, or related field. The applicant should have 4+ years of experience working in an HR or corresponding function (e.g., finance, payroll), ideally within a professional organization
