Job Summary
Our company seeks a Senior Regional Sales Representative/ Business Developer to
expand into new markets in South America, Central America, and the Caribbean. In this
role, you are responsible for identifying and following up with leads and making sales.
Your main objective involves communicating with and developing new clients in order to
help them select the right products or services. Our ideal candidate has at least 15
years of experience with sales and business development as well as an extensive list of
contacts throughout the region. Experience managing corporate accounts is a major
plus.
Regional Sales Representative Duties and Responsibilities
• Identify and research potential clients
• Develop and maintain client relationships
• Coordinate with the rest of the sales team to develop mutually beneficial
proposals
• Negotiate contract terms with clients
• Develop sales leads and collect pertinent information from clients
• Create and implement processes and policies to support the overall business
• Develop and manage strategic partnerships to grow the business
• Track sales to ensure that contracts are fulfilled
• Conduct ongoing market research to generate new business
• Drive the end-to-end sales process
• Prepare and submit sales contracts
• Inform clients about our products or services and provide demonstrations
Regional Sales Representative Requirements and Qualifications
• A bachelors degree in International Finance, International Business, or
Business Economics.
• A minimum of 10 years of actual experience in similar positions.
• Proven customer service, negotiation, and sales skills
• The ability to work independently and travel as needed for extended periods
of time throughout Central America, the Carribbean, and Northern South
America region
• Must have documented sales proposal writing experience
• Must be fluent in English and Spanish; Creole and Portuguese a plus.
• Must be independently motivated and capable of creating sales leads based
on prior business network in the region
