The picturesque campus consists of 37 buildings and spans more than 80 acres. The Custodial Assistant is responsible for the maintenance of assigned campus buildings and grounds.
In support of the campus mission, strategic plans and values, Queens College seeks to fill four Custodial Assistant vacancies in the Department of Buildings and Grounds.
Duties include, but not limited to:
- Sweeps, damp mops, and wet mops office floors, toilets, corridors, lobbies, and other assigned floor areas.
- Cleans washbasins and other toilet room facilities.
- Washes walls by hand with a brush or by using an electric machine.
- Scrubs floors with an electric machine; waxes and polishes floors.
