Miami-Dade long-term healthcare organization seeks strong marketer for corporate team. Director of Contracting & Marketing report to the organization’s Chief Executive Officer and is be responsible for contracting and marketing operations in South Florida.

Director of Corporate Contracting & Marketing is responsible for the organization’s marketing objectives; managing, developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan, and recruiting, training and monitoring marketing and outreach staff.


This position establishes and maintains professional relationships with all existing referral sources and identifies and develops relationships with new potential referral sources; negotiates contracts and per diem pricing for generic and unique patients with an understanding of services, costs and margins while regularly reviewing and updating existing managed care contracts.


Candidate must be fluent in both English and Spanish, possessing well-developed verbal and written communication skills present a professional demeanor and ability to deal tactfully at all corporate levels including senior level executive and administrative staff, doctors, nursing staff and other personnel, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies/personnel, network business associates and the general public; and have proven marketing and negotiation skills and the ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant.

Candidate should also have a minimum of 2 years’ experience in a supervisory/administrative marketing capacity with experience in healthcare or long-term nursing care preferred; an understanding of insurance products, deductibles and coverages as they relate to this position’s goals and a working understanding of computer systems and applications, along with the ability to learn new applications as necessary.
