Receptionist
Answering phones and general office support for a law firm located in the Falls area. Full time, Monday - Friday, Bi-Lingual and punctual.
Receptionist Job Duties:
Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions.
Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges.
Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation.
Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
answer telephone, screen and direct calls
take and relay messages
provide information to callers
greet persons entering organization
direct persons to correct destination
deal with queries from the public and customers
ensure knowledge of staff movements in and out of organization
monitor visitor access and maintain security awareness
provide general administrative and clerical support
prepare correspondence and documents
receive and sort mail and deliveries
schedule appointments
maintain appointment diary either manually or electronically
organize conference and meeting room bookings
co-ordinate meetings and organize catering
monitor and maintain office equipment
control inventory relevant to reception area
tidy and maintain the reception area
