FOOD SCIENCE TECHNICIAN: Perform standardized tests on food products; maintain records of testing results as required by state agencies; monitor and control temperature of products; taste/smell foods to ensure that flavors meet specifications; ensure that meat and other ready to cook foods are in the best quality and to process them according to the strictest hygiene requirements; establish all standards for foodstuffs and meat processing.
