Manager, Business Intelligence & Investigations (job location: Miami, FL) Conduct research & analysis for business intelligence & internal investigation projects for U.S., Central American, & South American financial institutions, corporations, law firms, & non-profit institutions in the context of investigations into money laundering allegations, financial misstatement, corruption & bribery, asset misappropriation & theft, & regulatory compliance. Prepare findings & assist in data quality control efforts. Structure investigative projects involving reputational due diligence, market entry, internal investigations, litigation support, & intellectual property. Identify, assess & understand risks, assess extent of vulnerability & recommend appropriate mitigation measures based on risk level. Conduct asset search investigations to identify ownership of assets as appropriate. Prepare complex investigative reports on behalf of clients & write detailed case reports. Analyze forensically-imaged hard drives & utilize visual analysis software to develop investigatory conclusions. Req's: Bachelor's in International Relations, Laws, or International Economics, & 18 months of exp in position offered or as Associate. All req'd exp must have included conducting research & analysis for business intelligence & internal investigation projects for U.S., Central American, & South American financial institutions, corporations, law firms, & non-profit institutions in the context of investigations into money laundering allegations, financial misstatement, corruption & bribery, asset misappropriation & theft, & regulatory compliance; conducting research using Thomson Reuters World-Check, Dow Jones Factiva, & RELX Group solutions (including LexisNexis); & producing diagrammatic & pictorial explanations of key findings & patterns using i2 Analyst's Notebook by IBM, CaseWare IDEA, & Microsoft Office Excel.
