BUS. DEV'T. MGR. Bach. Bus. Admin./foreign equiv. + 5 yrs. exp. req'd. Manage, maintain, expand LatAm accounts for frozen fruit/vegetable distributor. Identify, develop, evaluate strategic growth opportunities based on: product knowledge, distribution networks, accounts, competition, industry, markets/territories served, costs, regulatory issues. Leverage client relationships, negotiate terms/conditions of sale, conduct sales presentations. Evaluate, analyze, deliver business solutions based on: budgets, mkt. research, sales forecasts, ROI, profit-loss projections. Research, study, analyze regional market statistics, align sales objectives with company's goals. Apply forecasting/strategic planning tools to monitor sales/profitability. Provide ongoing customer service/product support, conduct networking activities. Participate in promotional activities and represent the company at industry trade shows. Ensure compliance with import/export laws and govt. regulations. Exp. req'd. in consultative sales process, CPG industry, new product dev't. strategic sales planning, logistics/distribution, mkt. research in LatAm. Excellent written/verbal communication. Excel/CRM software req'd. Travel req'd. 40-50% (in U.S. to visit suppliers/attend trade shows, intn'l. to LatAm to visit customers: Colombia, Brazil, Panama, Peru, Dom.
