International Air Transport Association seeks a Manager, Security and Facilitation, Americas to promote an intended platform of industry policies, procedures, practices, and positions. Develop plans to communicate and implement global best practices for passenger facilitation, including advanced passenger information (API and PNR) schemes, passenger processes, and enhancing the overall passenger experience. Establish cooperative relationships between airlines and government authorities to facilitate sharing of regulatory priorities. Consult on regional security and facilitation collaboration endeavors with the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), the Latin American Airline Association (ALTA), and local associations. Align regional operations across IATA's offices across Mexico, Peru, and Canada to promote IATA's strategies and services. Position requires a Master's degree in Law, Public Policy, or a related field, and 2 years of experience with aviation security and facilitation in the Americas region. Experience must include a minimum of: 2 years of experience with representing aviation interests through public advocacy; 2 years of experience with establishing cooperative relationships between key airline industry stakeholders to facilitate security and facilitation-related regulations; 2 years of experience with aviation technology, safety, security, and facilitation and operational activities; and 2 years of experience with aligning member airlines at the technical, security, facilitation, and operational levels to advance organizational goals. Fluency in spoken and written Spanish is required. Travel is required 50% of the time to various unanticipated locations throughout the United States. Job location: Miami, FL.
