Planning Analyst
PLANNING ANALYST: Conduct quantitative / statistical analyses of information affecting our clients' corporate and other investment programs. Study finance trends to develop financial guidelines and standards to prepare points of view used in our preparation of financial and investment forecasts and models and to formulate financing policy as it relates to our organization’s trade finance services. Research and analyze potential investment opportunities in Latin American using working knowledge of the following trade tools: Bloomberg Terminal, Python, econometric forecasting, time series data, regression analysis, risk metrics, yield curve studies, price modeling, inflation and currency fluctuation factors, and mean variance. Set and monitor risk and return KPIs using working knowledge of the following trade tools: valuation theory, hedge fund theory and credit risk analysis. Conduct research and analyze financial and statistical data on our corporate client base and prospects to formulate recommendations on investment / lending strategies to senior management using working knowledge of the following trade tools: SAP and Python. REQS: Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Economics and 1 yr of exp in the job or in Financial Analysis positions dealing with research and analysis of investment opportunities in Latin American and the listed trade tools.
