Job Summary


The Parking and Transportation Department is currently seeking a Temporary Fiscal Assistant to join their team of professionals.


Fiscal Assistant Duties:


  • Assist in preparation of event invoices for billing/and departmental portal invoices and keep track of invoices.
  • Assist with reaching out to departments for billing information for events and data input into system.
  • Track monthly spending on department credit card and create monthly list of inventory.
  • Assist in daily reconciliation of in-office transactions, online transactions and meter parking transactions.
  • Assist in processing payment for re-occurring services and one-time services while keeping track of vendor status.
  • Assist in reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable.
  • Conduct market research in sourcing products and services.
  • Availability to work some weekends and weeknights is a requirement.
  • Assist in campus events.
  • Driving on behalf of the university


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Business Administration or 4 years experience in field
  • Experience in Administration Support
  • Ability to take direction and work independently as needed
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with highly sensitive information
  • Ability to work weekends (as needed for department operations)
