POSITION DESCRIPTION

The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Temp Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team of professionals.

  • Attends each GCP class session (usually two 1.5 hr class sessions weekly)
  • Take attendance, facilitate group discussions and chat.
  • Assists in identifying readings in EBook and provide hyperlinks for use in CanvasMed modules.
  • Assists with development of quizzes in CanvasMed
  • Grade papers under supervision of Course Director
  • Tutors Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) students
  • Other duties as assigned

DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree and completion of the FIU HWCOM Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences
