POSITION DESCRIPTION
The Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine is currently seeking a Temp Teaching Assistant (TA) to join our team of professionals.
- Attends each GCP class session (usually two 1.5 hr class sessions weekly)
- Take attendance, facilitate group discussions and chat.
- Assists in identifying readings in EBook and provide hyperlinks for use in CanvasMed modules.
- Assists with development of quizzes in CanvasMed
- Grade papers under supervision of Course Director
- Tutors Graduate Certificate Program (GCP) students
- Other duties as assigned
DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor's degree and completion of the FIU HWCOM Graduate Certificate in Molecular and Biomedical Sciences
