Job Summary:
Oversees and implements the day-to-day operations of the expansion and development of the program components. Assists in the development of student recruitment efforts.
- Oversees and implements the day-to-day operations of the expansion and development of the program components.
- Assists the Program Manager in the development of student recruitment efforts designed to promote program awareness and increase student applicant pool.
- Maintains organized database of student/family applicants and coordinate student interview process, including: scheduling student/family interviews, securing appropriate interview space and providing necessary interview documents.
- Develops agenda and completes minutes for all program and team meetings.
- Provides necessary follow-up on items discussed in the meetings, oversee distribution of meeting minutes to partners and coordinate meeting times with all program staff including mentors and GAs as needed to address programmatic functions.
- Maintains secure, organized and up-to-date files on all students and affiliates, including Faculty Mentors, Academic/Social Mentors, Graduate Assistants and volunteers.
- Ensure all students have an updated program of study on file and provide relevant advise to students re: course selection.
- Coordinates student course registration process with assigned program staff, organize courses in table with specific course information.
- Assists the Program Manager with the necessary Vocational Rehabilitation paperwork necessary for tuition payments for eligible students.
- Develop flowcharts of deadlines/timelines for programmatic activities.
- Process all personal and student travel reimbursement paperwork for professional conferences and meetings.
- Interacts and communicates with non-English speakers.
Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and two (2) years of office or related experience.
Desired Qualifications:
- Bilingual (e.g. Spanish, Creole).
- Experience working with individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
Salary: $45,000 - $50,000
Work Schedule:
Begin time: 8:30 AM
End time: 5:00 PM
