Technical Director: Internal consultant to the Director of Operations regarding all relevant aviation technical related matters regarding purchasing, planning and strategies for the company; responsible for communication with airline customers regarding aviation questions and ongoing acquisitions of material, parts and services; provide knowledge of FAA Repair Station legislation; in charge of airline requirements regarding technical aspects of warranties, parts & material acquisition inquiries and compliance issues; work with numerous types of aircraft including but not limited to MD80 Series, Fokker 50/70/100, Saab 340, Beech 1900D; oversee NDT testing of aviation material; etc. Req. Must have at least 2 years of experience in the job duties or 2 years of experience working with MD80 Series, Fokker 50/70/100, Saab 340, Beech 1900D aircraft. Must have NDT testing certificate.
