The Opportunity

 

The Business and Technology Division of Columbia-Greene Community College is seeking part-time instructors to teach the following courses Spring 2025 semester:

 

  • Network Security CS 235

Monday and Wednesday | 11:00a - 12:20p | On-campus

 

  • Computer Forensics CS 241

Tuesday and Thursday 12:30p - 1:50p | On-campus

 

Minimum Requirements

 

  • Master’s degree in computer science or related field

 

Preferred Requirements

 

  • Previous instructional experience.
  • Experience teaching online with Brightspace.
  • Sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, gender, cultural, disability, and ethnic backgrounds of students.

 

Benefit Information

 

Starting salary $900 per credit hour and will be commensurate with education and teaching experience. Some benefits include New York State Retirement options, supplemental retirement and life insurance options, and employee tuition waiver. PSLF waivers offered.
