Job Summary:
The Cleveland State University College of Law invites applications for a full-time Visiting Assistant Professor of Law position for the 2023-2024 academic year starting on August 14, 2023 with a particular focus on the areas of business, transactional and commercial law. Duties will include teaching, scholarly research and writing, and ordinary committee service. CSU is committed to academic excellence and diversity within the faculty, staff, and student body. Minimum Qualifications:

  • D. from an ABA-accredited law school, Ph.D or equivalent degree with a distinguished academic record by July 1, 2023.
  • Evidence of potential for significant scholarly achievement and teaching ability.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

  • D., Ph.D. or equivalent degree with a specialization in business, transactional or commercial law or related subjects;
  • Outstanding academic record, including law review, judicial clerkship, a record of scholarly research and publication, and experience teaching online courses; and
  • The ability to contribute through teaching and/or service to the diversity, cultural sensitivity, and excellence of the academic community.
