Warehouse and Office Sales Assistant

Wood flooring and carpet store with a 50 year history in Miami seeks person who can wear many hats. Job will entail all aspects of operating a small business. Duties include everything from operating a forklift (will train) and organizing a warehouse to working with customers, preparing estimates and scheduling jobs. Fluent in English and Spanish preferred. College student OK.

A typical day may start with meeting with installers and getting the day's work orders out the door. Next may be organizing the warehouse and then moving to office work. Throughout the day as deliveries arrive that may require operating the forklift to unload a truck. Then continue office work which may be preparing estimates, seeing customers, meeting with manufacturer representatives and other general office duties. On occasion, visits to jobsites will be required. 

The following are preferred skills but we will train:

* Proficient with Windows OS

* Familiar with Quickbooks Software preferred but will train

* Capable of lifting heavy boxes of wood

* Drive a forklift and have valid driver license and vehicle

Work Hours:

8:00 AM to 4:00 PM Mon-Fri

Every other Saturday 10:00 AM - 2:00 PM 

Hourly Wage: $18.00 - $20.00/Hour
