The Mortgage Servicing Operations Lead supervises the Setup, Payment Processing and Reconciliation positions in the Mortgage Servicing Department. This position interviews and hires personnel, conducts performance appraisals, trains and coordinates workload. The Mortgage Servicing Operations Lead ensures staff procedures are developed and updated, develops efficiencies, and ensures quality assurance of staff work through reviewing daily work and quality control reports. This position participates in department projects and serves as backup for the other team managers in the department.
Candidates must have a minimum of three to five years of experience working in a core processing loan system and team leadership experience. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills and strong organizational, research, analytical and problem solving skills. Candidates must have the ability to motivate others, work independently and demonstrate critical thinking skills and independent judgement. The ability to effectively manage and monitor the performance of others and provide constructive feedback is required. Candidates must also have the ability to provide professional support and present a positive image of the department and the bank. Candidates must be able to manage multiple projects and deadlines concurrently and travel as needed.
